Valcourt, Quebec, September 6, 2025 — Ski-Doo X-Team snowmobile racers continued to compete and win more than their fair share in all forms of racing last season and plan to extend that trend in 2025-26 racing. The excitement and color these hardcore racers bring to snowmobiling energizes the fan base every year as they lay it on the line to bring home the trophies and make riders everywhere proud to be on a Ski-Doo.
Ski-Doo racers continued to lead the ISOC snocross racing circuit again last season with a 65%-win rate, leaving just 35% to be split amongst the competition. That’s crushing it no matter how you slice it. It helps that 52% of the field has chosen Ski-Doo as their ride and also speaks to the superior performance and durability of the brand’s MXZ 600 RS E-TEC – but the outsized win rate says it all. And has for several years now. The future looks even brighter as Ski-Doo took 77% of the wins from the Transition to Sport classes where young talent is developed!
2025 Champions:
- Henry Dillon – 120 Champ
- Travis Bellerive – Transition 8-10
- Ryder Hayes – Transition 9-13
- Ryder Hayes – Junior 10-13
- Tavin Knudson – Junior 14-15
- Tavin Knudson – Sport-Lite
- Dylan Lebel – Sport
- Malene Cottew – Pro Women
- Crayden Dillon – Pro-Lite
The majority of riders and teams return intact, but there are some notable changes within as the Pro ranks look incredibly stacked with riders moving up. Below is a partial list of Ski-Doo racers competing on the ISOC circuit this year:

Cross-country
In the world’s toughest cross-country race, The Iron Dog, Ski-Doo racers returned to the top step for the sixth time in the past decade claiming 1st and 3rd place finishes with some veteran racers and a surprise fill-in. The team of Brad George and Robby Schachle claimed their second Iron Dog win with a dominant performance. Tyler Aklestad found an outstanding substitute in Aaron Loyer when his usual teammate, Nick Olstad, was injured while practicing. Facing some challenges they fought hard to claim third place. What’s remarkable is Ski-Doo’s success comes courtesy of a snowmobile anyone can buy at their local dealer – not a limited build factory racer only type machine.
Fans can expect to see a strong Iron Dog effort again this season led by the riders mentioned above and team organizer Korey Cronquist, who has been leading the effort in Alaska for 15 years now.
Hillclimb
In Hill Climb, Ski-Doo embarked on a new mission last year to build a strong presence on the Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Hillclimb Association (RMSHA) circuit and it paid off with several Jackson Hole World Championships – that effort continues this year. Ski-Doo will have a staffed factory race support trailer at most RMSHA Hillclimb events to support their racers with parts availability, tuning and development. A partial list of racers is below – the complete Hillclimb roster will be shared at a later date, but confirmed racers are:

Ice Oval Racing

Town Brothers Racing look to finish what they started last year in pursuit of a Soo 500 victory. Winners of the Meijer Shootout they continue to prove that they have the speed to win. Joining the effort to win the Soo will be the ultra-competitive Cadarette Collision Racing.
