The heart and soul of this MXZ model, the new Rotax 600R E-TEC, produces 125 hp and proudly displays the DNA of its big brother, the Rotax 850 E-TEC. Features such as the short intake, ultra-fast eRAVE, one-piece plasma-coated cylinder and several other elements allow it to offer top-class performance on the trail. In addition to such impressive power, response and acceleration, the design team made sure to match and exceed the reliability and efficiency levels that make the Rotax 600 H.O. E-TEC so popular.

With the MXZ 600R E-TEC’s engine narrow enough for the REV Gen4, enthusiasts in the 600cc class can now enjoy the platform’s superior bumpy capabilities and balanced, precise handling. Features like the RAS 3 front suspension with KYB Pro 36 shocks and dual-pivot steering complement the rMotion and quick-adjust system in the rear.

Rotax 600R E-TEC technology

BRP combines the lightweight and precise REV Gen4 platform with the Rotax 600R E-TEC to increase the enjoyment of snowmobilers in the 600 cc class. In Austria and Canada, BRP’s engineering team was tasked with creating a new, narrow 600cc engine design for the REV Gen4 platform, with the same goals that governed the design of the 850 E-TEC: more power, exceptionally dynamic response and top-of-the-line reliability, while maintaining the E-TEC engines’ reputation for supreme efficiency and durability.

The 600R E-TEC develops 125 hp* and uses the most advanced 2-stroke technologies in the industry, borrowed from the 850 E-TEC. This combination has allowed BRP to create the most dynamic 600cc engine on the snowmobile market.

Power – The new 600 E-TEC is a class-leading 125 hp (5 hp more than the 600 H.O. E-TEC).

Dynamism – When designing the 600R E-TEC, the BRP engineering team’s primary goal was to create the same instantaneous acceleration as the 850 E-TEC. With the 850 E-TEC technologies, this engine delivers instant acceleration with every touch of the throttle.

PLATEFORM
REV Gen4 Platform: Designed with narrow engines, perfectly centered to provide the most maneuverable trail sled available. The trail version of the REV Gen4 platform was designed for the most aggressive trail riders. Its narrow, compact design allows for more freedom of movement and control. More centralized weight (especially side-to-side) and the best suspension in the industry make it exceptionally maneuverable.

SUSPENSION
rMotion 129 rear suspension with Quick Adjust System (QAS): The gold standard in comfort, capability and adjustability. Provides a smooth ride over small bumps and increased capability over larger bumps with a separate rear spring and shock absorber and the most progressive damping ratio in the industry. The 327 cm (129″) length provides superior traction, braking and bump absorption without sacrificing the MXZ’s legendary qualities of ultra-precise handling and cornering efficiency. Adjustments are made easily with knobs for shocks, springs and transfer block.

High quality rear shocks: HPG Plus shocks in the center. KYB Pro 36 rear shock with compression speed adjustment. Made of aluminum, all shocks are removable.

RAS 3 Front Suspension: The premium front suspension with unequal-length A-arms absorbs bumps remarkably well and provides precision handling, even in the most challenging conditions.

KYB Pro 36 R piggyback front shocks: Exceptional capacity and durability for better control in the toughest conditions. The new, more efficient design provides high performance, and the optimized compression and rebound adjustment ranges are set with easy-to-use knobs.

Dual Pivot Steering System: Based on the MXZx racing model, this system increases the precision of the front suspension and the ability to maintain a straight line over large bumps.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

Ergo-Step Side Panels: A design that offers a natural progression between three riding positions to suit different cornering styles, with an extreme forward position.

Open toeholds: The freedom to choose. Allows the driver to rotate the outside foot naturally in tight turns. For a secure and integrated feel, accessories allow the foot hold to be customized to suit the driving style.

Forward Adjustable Elevation Block: Tool-less adjustment forward and backward 10 cm (4 in.) to customize the driving position instantly.

Trail performance seat: Narrow design allows for easy side-to-side, forward and backward movement. Wider and flatter rear section for more comfort.

Pilot 5.7 Skis: Skis with two pins and a unique smoothness that provides more bite in turns and prevents abrupt deviations.

rMotion Quick Adjust System: Footboard-mounted buttons make it quick and easy to adjust spring preload and rear suspension damper compression rate, even while wearing gloves. You get a 40% increase in preload adjustment range compared to standard rMotion suspension and an infinite number of settings.

Ice Ripper XT 15″ x 129″ x 1.25″ (38cm x 327cm x 3.2cm): RipSaw derived track with carbide studs built into the profile for increased traction on icy surfaces.

UPDATE – pDrive Pulley: Completely redesigned clutch with fast, frictionless dual rollers to transfer engine torque instead of traditional knobs. Large rollers with needle bearings, wide seat centrifugal mass and dual axle design provide a smoother ride and longer life. Very light and maintenance-free, it provides extremely fast speed changes and remarkably consistent rpm. Fixed finned pulley to circulate more air, with the new HVAC cover for better airflow and cooling.

Brembo Disc Brake: Hydraulic system created by the world leader in the industry, featuring exclusive race-style X-brake pads for powerful, long-lasting braking capability. Stainless steel braided line.

Glove box: 4L storage box, ideal for storing gloves or spare glasses. Improved seal for better protection against moisture. Ready for installation of USB and 12V outlets (wiring and position).

Premium handlebar controls: Backlit with heat switches, electronic reverse button and Mode-Set buttons to control instrument panel functions.

Multifunction Gauge: Customizable LCD digital gauge to provide snowmobilers with an easy-to-read display that automatically adjusts its brightness based on ambient light so that information is accessible all day long.

Rotax Electronic Reverse (RER): A system that weighs almost nothing as a single button reverses the direction of the engine.

Electric starter: Standard (without recoil starter).

DESS RF Key: Standard anti-theft protection by means of a radio frequency microchip integrated into the key. Its ball-and-socket design ensures a solid connection in all conditions.

Accessory Ready: The vehicle has been factory prepared for easy installation of over 100 Ski-Doo accessories for the REV Gen4 platform: LinQ system, skid plates, vented side panel kit, LED auxiliary light, GPS receiver, 1+1 seat, windshield choices, and more.
