2020 SKI-DOO MXZ X-RS

OVERVIEW

The bigger the bumps, the tighter the turns, the happier MXZ X-RS riders are. The X-RS rider is energized by the thought of tackling rugged trails and rough terrain and has the perfect tool to dominate every ride, and he knows it.

The MXZ X-RS excels when the terrain is especially demanding, thanks to the incredibly maneuverable and dynamic REV Gen4 platform. With instantaneous response to all rider commands, it’s specifically designed to respond with motocross-like agility. This feature alone gives the rider a unique handling advantage in all trail conditions.

Underneath the chassis is the legendary rMotion rear suspension and RAS 3 front suspension, both with race-engineered KYB Pro shocks. The progressive travel ratio of the rMotion eliminates small bumps, while eliminating seemingly bottomless bumps.

At the heart of the X-RS is a powerful Rotax E-TEC two-stroke engine, the 850 or 600R E-TEC. Able to respond instantly to every throttle stroke, these two engines give snowmobilers the dynamic response and incredible performance they want and expect from a Rotax product.

New for 2020, the X-RS features a 7.2-inch (18.3 cm) wide, fully digital display. The backlit display serves as a high-end, easy-to-read instrument panel with an impressive array of racing features. The forward-facing handlebars and reinforced running boards with a wider design are specially designed for racing and installed as standard, as is the adjustable forward elevation block. The package is enhanced with spring-only options such as pre-braced tracks, quick-adjust suspension and adjustable skis to allow X-RS enthusiasts to create the perfect vehicle, straight from the manufacturer.


2020 SKI-DOO MXZ X

Aggressive in tight corners, precise in hairpin turns, breathtakingly fast on the straights. For the buyer who chooses the MXZ X package, there are no secrets to performance. The ultimate in cornering, the MXZ X inspires confidence on all types of trails, with precise, effortless steering, and is ready to take on the toughest terrain, whenever the rider decides to push the limits.

At the controls of an MXZ X equipped with an 850 E-TEC or 600R E-TEC, the snowmobiler gets instant acceleration that you can feel in your arms with every stroke of the throttle. As the rider pushes the limits of the RAS 3 and rMotion suspensions, the ability to devour the trails increases. Because the KYB shocks are housed in the chassis, the suspension components are able to respond to the vehicle’s dynamism regardless of the engine option or trail conditions.

Building on the REV Gen4 geometry, the MXZ X snowmobiles give the rider total control of their vehicle. The centralization of mass provides an efficient handling feel that few snowmobiles are able to provide. And additional features, like the adjustable forward elevation block and new 7.2-inch wide digital display, provide the premium feel that X-pack enthusiasts demand. It handles the toughest conditions on any trail with ease, and both the chassis and engine have the dynamic nature that is exclusive to Ski-Doo models.

The TNT, which once challenged the most daring snowmobilers, has become one of the most recognized models in the history of trail sledding. Ski-Doo’s product development teams are proud to continue the tradition today.

But the distinction must be earned. The constant pursuit of the perfect vehicle, no matter who’s driving it, is the force that fuels the 2020 MXZ TNT.
