A new version of the model was introduced this year, the Ultimate version of the Sportsman 570 is definitely the most technologically advanced! It offers significant improvements, including a new chassis design, a removable passenger seat for greater versatility, a chassis that is twice as rigid for better handling, and much more.
Improved chassis
Although it has already proven itself, this chassis is a major improvement to Polaris’s ultimate touring model. The more robust tubular frame doubles the rigidity of the chassis.
This improvement greatly facilitates suspension calibration, as well as driving and handling, especially on rough terrain. Keen observers will have noticed the legacy of its larger-displacement counterparts from 2024. The aesthetics have been updated to align with the rest of the Sportsman range.
New LED lighting
We’ve been asking for it for several years, and now we finally have it: high-performance LED lighting! Two headlights are mounted in the fenders, and there is also one positioned in the handlebar pod, which provides superb visibility in the direction of the handlebars. The signature LED touch that surrounds the headlights and is also found at the rear is really well done!
Improved passenger seat and grab handles
The rear passenger seat and handles have been redesigned for increased comfort and improved ergonomics. Polaris offers a first in the industry: a removable passenger seat. The seat and handles can be removed in one piece without tools, revealing a large luggage rack. Some may say it’s about time, but this innovation is a superb idea that offers unprecedented versatility in two-seater ATVs.
Storage has also been given attention
Definitely one of the outstanding improvements for 2025 is the increase in size and repositioning of the rear trunk. If you remember, on previous versions, the opening was at the rear and there was often dust and even water inside the trunk. And accessibility wasn’t the easiest either. For 2025, engineers have repositioned the opening on the top, integrated into the Lock & Ride rear plate. This new waterproof trunk offers almost 23 liters of storage space! As on previous models, the front trunk has also been retained, offering an additional 19 liters of storage space!
Improved, efficient suspension…
One of the main advantages of the Touring Ultimate model is its suspension, designed for the comfort of both passengers. At the front, there is an independent MacPherson suspension offering 8.2 inches (20.8 cm) of travel. At the rear, the double A-arm independent suspension system provides 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) of travel and 11.5 inches of ground clearance.
These features effectively absorb road irregularities, reducing vibrations transmitted to the driver and passenger.
7S display and Ride Command…
Undoubtedly one of the best information and entertainment systems on the market, Polaris integrates its Ride Command system with a large 7S display on the Ultimate version! We asked for it, and we’re getting it for 2025! During my last visit in 2023 to the Polaris ATV and PTV launch, I was asked about the possibility of having the 7S on an ATV, and I replied, “Why not?!” This display is not only large, it is also very user-friendly, simple, and powerful! Of course, it provides all the information you need in several display modes.
Several display and configuration options such as engine modes, power steering, etc. And of course, mapping that allows us to see the exact location of our colleagues equipped with the same system in real time. This is a GPS system connected to satellites that provides a very accurate georeferenced signal, enabling communication between users! Safe, fun, and informative!
Engine and performance
At the heart of the 2025 Sportsman 570 Touring Ultimate is the ProStar 570 single-cylinder four-stroke engine. Its 567 cc displacement offers a nice balance between power and fuel efficiency. Capable of generating around 44 horsepower, this engine guarantees smooth acceleration and good pickup. Liquid cooling ensures optimal thermal management, allowing the engine to maintain its performance even during prolonged use or in demanding environments. Electronic fuel injection (EFI) not only improves throttle response, but also optimizes fuel consumption, resulting in appreciable range for long excursions.
What about cargo capacity?
