BRP began its marine business with the Sea-Doo in the mid-80s. Today, Switch pontoons have been added to the range. In July, the Quebec-based company announced that it was selling some of its marine group brands, namely Alumacraft, Manitou and Telwater. For 2026, Sea-Doo is not expanding its already extensive PWC lineup. However, it is adding technological and connected equipment to certain Sea-Doo models, with the BRP Connect screen and a revamped audio system . On the Switch pontoons, power ratings have been increased and a new 300 hp supercharged Rotax 1630 ACE engine has been added.

Sea-Doo engineers are integrating an intuitive 10.25″ touch screen , introduced on the GTX Limited 325 in 2025, onto several models. It is now standard on the RXT-X, FishPro Trophy, Wake Pro, Explorer Pro , and optional on the RXP-X .
This intuitive screen offers connectivity via the BRP GO! app (with Navionics compatibility), and displays riding statistics, marine navigation, a compass and even music .
It also enables groups of boaters to track each other, communicate and create itineraries. The system adds exclusive features: acceleration optimization on the RXP-X for blistering starts in competition, marine navigation and use of Garmin GPS in sounder mode on the FishPro Trophy . Ski mode management via the display offers five acceleration settings to suit different levels.
Beyond connectivity, the 2026 models also benefit from aesthetic updates. Vibrant, bold colors such as bright yellow, ocean blue and an all-new metallic red adorn the Sea-Doo Spark, GTI and GTX. These design choices reflect BRP’s desire to offer vehicles that not only perform, but also express the personality of their owners.
Switch 2026 pontoons: power and versatility on the rise
Sea-Doo’s Switch pontoon family has taken its place in the market since its arrival in 2022, with its modularity and ease of use. It’s moving upmarket for 2026, with significant improvements in power and functionality. Some Switch models in the 18 and 21 foot class are equipped with the optional 300 hp Rotax 1630 ACE engine. This increase in power is felt immediately. Lift-off is quicker, top speed is increased, and towing capacity is greatly improved.
With its 60% larger fuel tank, autonomy is extended for a full day’s use. What’s more, all models offer direct access to the sounder from the dashboard, whatever the screen size.
Two corner tables, a complete audio system and a 10.25″ touch screen are standard on most of the range, except on the Switch Cruise and Sport 18′ and 21′ models, where they are available as options.
The Switch pontoon range expands.
The Switch pontoon lineup has been enriched by several new features. The Switch Cruise and Cruise Limited models feature rear corner doors for easy access to the swim platform, an ideal addition for swimming and water sports.
The 18-foot Cruise Limited is now equipped with the powerful 300 hp engine and a new spring system for an easier-to-deploy bimini. Its big brother, the 21-footer, can be fitted with a double bimini, covering 45% more surface area for better sun protection.
A new compact model joins the family: the Switch Fish Compact 170 hp . It incorporates most of the fishing technologies of the larger model in a more manageable format.
To complete the experience, new LinQ accessories are available, such as a windscreen cover, a barbecue table, a private area with emergency toilet, and a stern rack for relaxing on the water.
In terms of aesthetics and comfort, Switch 2026 pontoons feature new seating configurations, improved storage options and new color palettes. These improvements are designed to make the vehicle even more adaptable to the needs of every family and every outing, whether it’s a day’s fishing, a leisurely cruise or an intense watersports session.
New accessories and special clothing have been added to the catalog to help you sail in style and in the right materials, such as flotation suits, life jackets and technical clothing, for a safer, more comfortable experience on the water.
