Table des matières

CFMOTO continues to make its mark as one of the most active players in the off-road world. This year, it’s safe to say they’re hitting hard with the all-new 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO. New engine, amazing work capabilities and a versatile side. All delivered with a ton of equipment included as standard. Exactly what you need to make your mark in the work vehicle segment. The 4Riders Magazine team had the chance to put it to the test… Here’s what we think!

Farm work is definitely one of the areas of choice for this vehicle.

Style, equipment and ergonomics

As soon as you come face to face with it, there’s no doubt. The 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO impresses with its generous dimensions. Its rugged look, with its large front grille, doesn’t go unnoticed. The light strip running across the grille adds a stylish touch, as does the eye-catching high-gloss black paintwork.

The UFORCE U10’s huge front grille suggests robustness.

It’s impossible to miss the quality of the finish, which reaches a new level with the arrival of this vehicle. CFMOTO can now afford to play in the big league and compete with established brands. Everything is well thought-out, well assembled, and every detail has been carefully considered to fit harmoniously into the picture.

An impressive list of standard equipment!

On our test model, we were entitled to the “basic” version. And it’s not really, with the mountain of equipment supplied as standard. However, there are a few that particularly stand out and are perfect for a utility vehicle.

  • The rear bucket with electric assistance (switch on the dashboard) to lift it without having to strain.
  • A standard winch with a 4500-lb capacity that comes with a remote-control. Ideal for getting out of awkward positions or simply clearing the way of a fallen tree.
  • Bluetooth audio system to play your favorite country songs.

Which version to choose?

We previously tested the “Highland” version which sits at the top of the range. This is the ultimate version, with an even longer list of features. Despite this, we found that our “base” version offers even more for every dollar, since we benefit from the same mechanical elements… We can also confirm that the general behavior is better without the extra weight of the cab. All this while saving nearly $7,000 on the total bill. In short, it’s up to you to decide whether you really need a fully enclosed cab and heating/air-conditioning system.

Top-of-the-range interior

The interior of the 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO is well designed and well finished. The dashboard incorporates an 8-inch touchscreen that provides access to key functions: vehicle information, audio system (AM/FM, Bluetooth) and Apple Carplay or Android Auto.

The materials are of good quality, and the layout of the controls is well thought out. Here, CFMOTO demonstrates its determination to raise its standards to compete with the major players in the market.

Seats that are a bit flashy… Do you like them?

Also worth mentioning are the seats with a touch of western style. They’re made of 2-tone black and brown leatherette, with topstitching and a diamond pattern. They’re very attractive, comfortable and easy to get in and out of, with a wide opening in the cabin. However, the fillets on the base version are sketchy, and we’d have liked rigid doors.

3-cylinder engine

With this new model, CFMOTO introduces a new engine to its range. It’s a three-cylinder in-line engine. Its 998 cc displacement develops 88 hp and a generous 69 lb-ft of torque. The engine is characterized by very quiet operation and smooth, linear revving. As you’d expect from a three-cylinder, vibrations are significantly reduced, enhancing on-board comfort.

The engine is positioned in the middle of the vehicle, under the tipping body.

Start-up is by push-button, and three driving modes are available: Work, Normal and Sport. These modes adjust throttle response and engine mapping. Sport mode offers a sharper throttle response for dynamic driving. Work mode, on the other hand, is gentler for low-speed maneuvers.

CVT transmission by CFMOTO

CFMOTO now manufactures its own continuously variable transmission (CVT). Previously, CVTech-IBC supplied this component for their vehicles. Today, the Chinese manufacturer is keen to produce the vast majority of its components in-house. This is the case for this transmission. Although CVTech-IBC remains involved in calibration. In this respect, the OmniDrive transmission stands out for its clutch smoothness and optimum performance. As for long-term reliability, only time will tell.

The transmission pushbuttons work like a charm.

Another interesting aspect of this model is the electric gear selector, which works with pushbuttons. It’s important to note that the vehicle must be completely stationary to change gear. This precaution ensures smoother driving while protecting the system. This avoids the risk of premature breakage associated with gear changes in motion. An excellent solution, doubly beneficial.

Trail driving

It’s time to climb aboard the 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO, and the steps are pretty high. Let’s just say it’s surprising the first few times! The seats are comfortable and the elevated driving position offers excellent visibility. A simple press on the electronic selector is all it takes to start up, and from the very first moment, you’ll notice how smooth and quiet it runs. The engine is definitely one of this vehicle’s strong points.

The suspension does a good job, with 11 inches of travel at the front and 10 inches at the rear. This ensures appreciable comfort. With 13 inches of ground clearance, obstacle clearance is a breeze, with no fear of rubbing.

The whole thing is stable and well calibrated, as long as you keep to a moderate driving style. Excessive speeding soon makes itself felt, with the chassis rolling in curves. In spite of this, the ride is healthy and the vehicle delivers good times on the trails.

Ideal companion for terrain maintenance.

Designed primarily for work.

The UFORCE U10 PRO particularly stands out in utility use. Its impressive towing capacity of 1,134 kg (2,500 lb) means it can handle the most demanding tasks. The tipping body can also carry up to 454 kg (1000 lb). These figures confirm its status as a true full-size work vehicle. At the same time, they place it in a strong competitive position.

The electrically-assisted tipping body is a major asset when it comes to avoiding unnecessary strain on a heavy load.

Another point worth highlighting is the particularly short turning radius, which is an excellent asset for a vehicle with a utility vocation. This makes tight manoeuvres much easier. On the other hand, this agility translates into slightly less precise steering at high speeds. There’s a slight feeling of blur when driving fast. Once again, hard work comes at the sacrifice of sportiness. For that, there’s ZFORCE.

All in all, acceleration and throttle response are more than adequate for trail use. In short, the 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO is first and foremost an excellent work vehicle with the ability to have fun. Versatile and multi-purpose, it suits users who want to do it all on board.

Points for improvement

  • The nets to close the sides are very rudimentary. We’d have liked rigid doors to give it a more premium look.
  • Suspension is correct, but not very adjustable (preload only). It’s fair to say that if there were more adjustments, it would help give even greater versatility.
  • Considering all this standard equipment, a new powertrain, electronics and lots of technology… It remains to be seen whether reliability will be there in the long term.

The final word

The 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO bears witness to the manufacturer’s growing expertise. With its solid powertrain, versatility and comprehensive equipment, it has everything to be considered in the utility segment.
