A warm lining inside can be removed as needed. This coat will keep you warm even on the chilliest mornings. Indeed, even without the thermal lining, it remains very warm, difficult to bear above 30°C. It has air vents, two on the chest, two on the forearms and two on the back. These slits are fitted with a small elastic band that can be hooked over the opening to promote ventilation. The same system applies to the collar, with a small elastic band and hook to keep the collar open, but without the wind and turbulence hitting the helmet as you ride, giving your neck more air.
Comfort and protection
A Velcro fastener on the upper arm ensures a snug fit. There’s also a drawcord around the waist for a perfect fit. All zippers are waterproof. The exterior of this Oxford Montréal 4.0 coat is made of heavy-duty, high-density polyester. The velcro is of good quality and won’t tire over time. This motorcycle jacket features elbow and shoulder protection. There’s a pocket for a back protector, but it’s not included, so you’ll need to buy it separately to maximize your protection against back and spine impacts.
This jacket offers protection and comfort for a wide range of weather conditions. Protection is good, and the critical impact zones of shoulders and elbows have been reinforced with tougher materials and trims, comfortably achieving a CE A standard rating, as well as a reassuring sense of quality. Protective shells with advanced molecule technology that solidify on impact would give us better protection than those included with this motorcycle jacket. Likewise, back protection should be included for maximum safety. Although the price is very attractive, these small changes would enhance the protection even further. Reflective strips are also incorporated in several strategic places without compromising the look; on the contrary, these fluorescent strips add to the visual quality of the design.
