2018 Polaris PRO-RMK 174
The 800 PRO-RMK 174 with the 3″ track is one of the lightest, strongest, and most maneuverable deep snow machines on the market. The 174 platform combined with the 7 series 3″ track is designed for climbing and flotation on the deepest powder days. With the PRO-RMK 174, drivers will find themselves less immobilized and staying on top of the snow.
Patented AXYS® RMK® Elevated Frame
The AXYS® RMK® features a patented elevated chassis that increases clearance and reduces drag to keep you above the snow. This new frame, specialized for mountain riding, allows for better performance on the side of the mountain, faster and easier hill climbing and an instant lift system that allows the snowmobile to get to the surface faster. The cover structure is lightweight and durable for all types of pipe. Larger spindles increase clearance to reduce drag.
Rear Suspension
The new lightweight and stiff rear suspension design includes revised geometry to control pitch. This improves weight transfer, allowing for better control and more convenient riding. The rigid suspension delivers power directly to the snow. Off-road, riders will notice improved weight transfer while maintaining the approach angle. On the trail, riders will notice a more comfortable and convenient ride. The rear suspension features a new durable and lightweight guide rail design that helps raise the rear skid when driving forward. The rear pushrod geometry has been optimized to maintain rider balance.

Developed in conjunction with the AXYS platform, the proven 800 Cleanfire® H.O. engine delivers a 10% increase in power-to-weight ratio and faster throttle response to generate instant lift. Integrated mounting position optimizes chassis balance. Includes:

- Three-stage electronically controlled exhaust valves for optimized power and responsiveness
- Electronic oil pump for reduced throttle pressure and improved durability

AXYS® chassis
The NEW AXYS chassis for the 144 platform is lightweight and strong, offering balanced rider control features that are critical for 50/50 riders. The rider is placed in a balanced position on the snowmobile so that turns can be executed flat. When the trail is rough or the rider jumps into powder, the active rider control allows the rider to move backwards and make the front end lighter for climbing over snow or bumps.
IGX 144 Rear Suspension
