The 2019 Ski-Doo Expedition models combine a blend of trail-savvy comfort and convenience with hybrid performance features and remarkable ease of tackling heavy tasks. Reflecting the spirit of freedom associated with their deep Scandinavian roots, these snowmobiles are unimpressed by traillessness and remote areas. They are the proud partners of northern explorers, with comfort for two-up riding and features for recreation.

Both versatile and capable of traversing uncharted snowy territory, the Expedition has a large following on several continents thanks to its impressive ability to facilitate work in remote locations – but its qualities don’t stop there.

Nothing explains the exceptional versatility of the Expedition line like the 20 x 154″ footprint of the SE, LE and Xtreme models, or the massive 24 x 156″ footprint of the Expedition SWT. Accompanied by a workhorse SC-5U rear suspension, these tracks provide an incredible amount of off-trail flotation, and the articulated track makes it easy to reverse in deep snow. In addition, the articulated section can be locked to provide amazing traction when towing a heavy load.

The Expedition’s utility DNA is ensured by features like the Synchromesh transmission with two forward and reverse speeds, standard trailer hitch and impressive rear trunk and seat storage space.

The RAS 2 A-arm front suspension provides precise, predictable handling and starting. A clear indication of the Expedition line’s dual purpose. Depending on the model chosen, the consumer who chooses an Expedition snowmobile can decide whether to give it a touring or recreational attitude.

The base Expedition Sport and Expedition LE models focus on work, yet are equipped enough to go exploring or enjoy a comfortable ride for two. New for 2019, the Expedition Sport REV Gen4 debuts with an upgraded 900 ACE engine. It combines the dynamic ride and confidence provided by the REV Gen4 chassis with RAS 3 front suspension with the efficient and reliable 900 ACE engine to deliver a perfect blend of handling, precision and performance you can count on.

The Expedition SE model, available exclusively this spring, is equipped with more comfort-oriented features, including an air-controlled suspension that allows you to adjust the preload without stopping the sled, tilt handlebars, a storage box, a high-capacity battery for heating accessories and charging your devices, and more. Not to mention the WARN winch with remote control, added to match its workhorse personality.

Every rule has its exceptions, and the exception in the lineup is the Expedition Xtreme. Breaking all the stereotypes of utility snowmobiles, the “Monster Truck” of the snowmobile world, the Expedition Xtreme, is equipped with the powerful 800R E-TEC engine and a premium shock package.

The Expedition SWT is the perfect vehicle for workers who demand the ultimate go-anywhere, do-everything snowmobile. Its impressive track provides unparalleled flotation in powder, and superior traction on packed and loose snow. The RAS 2 front suspension is known in the industry for providing the best handling on the trail. Finally, the 90-horsepower 900 ACE four-stroke engine completes the package to offer one of the most versatile snowmobiles in the touring-utility segment.

2019 Ski-Doo Expedition Packages

2019 Ski-Doo Expedition Xtreme

OVERVIEW
With capabilities that far exceed those typically found on utility snowmobiles, the Ski-Doo Expedition Xtreme goes far beyond the preconceived notions associated with sport-utility snowmobiles. For people who want to go beyond the daily grind to adventure, the Expedition Xtreme offers off-trail agility and sport performance more worthy of a Ski-Doo Summit than a utility snowmobile.

It offers the same hauling capacity purists look for in a utility vehicle, while adding standard features like a trailer hitch, luggage rack and Synchromesh transmission, plus the high power of an 800R E-TEC engine and HPG Plus R/KYB Pro 36 shock package. In all-black coloring, it has a rugged look, workhorse DNA and the heart of a high-performance athlete.

2019 Ski-Doo Expedition SWT – NEW

OVERVIEW
The new Expedition SWT exceeds expectations by providing snowmobilers with an extremely versatile vehicle for tackling heavy snow tasks. Whether you’re collecting firewood, towing ice fishing shacks, or just going for a ride to discover new trails and explore the backcountry, the new Expedition SWT exceeds expectations. With performance features like the RAS 2 front suspension that provides precise, reassuring handling and an impressive track that floats effortlessly on the snow, the Expedition SWT is equipped to handle whatever winter throws at you.

Always true to its purpose as a deep snow utility sled, the Expedition SWT gives the rider the confidence to go anywhere and do anything with the most impressive footprint in the industry. Its massive 24″ x 156″ x 1.25″ (61.0″ x 396.2″ x 3.2″) track provides extreme flotation for off-road work and unmatched traction with a rear suspension that locks to tow heavy loads.

Combined with the Synchromesh transmission, the powerful 900 ACE provides plenty of torque at low and medium speeds and in reverse, not to mention several Ski-Doo exclusive features, such as the Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) with its ECO, Standard and Sport driving modes.

2019 Ski-Doo Expedition SE

OVERVIEW
The 50-50 snowmobile description is typically reserved for the hybrid segment, but here it applies to the Expedition SE’s trail and utility capabilities.

Sure, heavy-duty jobs require the utility capabilities of features like the WARN Winch, Synchromesh transmission, standard trailer hitch and generous hauling capabilities, but they often require a second pair of hands as well. And there’s no better way to transport another worker and all the gear needed for the job than the Expedition SE.

Equipped for comfort with air-controlled suspension, tilting handlebars and enhanced battery capacity to accommodate multiple power outlets, the Expedition SE is the ideal vehicle for two people to work or explore, both on and off the trail.

2019 Ski-Doo Expedition LE

OVERVIEW

The Expedition LE is equipped to handle just about any winter task with confidence. With a large 20″ x 154″ x 1.25″ track footprint that provides exceptional flotation and a front RAS 2 that ensures confident handling, the Expedition LE is the perfect fit for consumers looking for a sport-utility snowmobile. Available with a choice of three engines – 1200 4-TEC, 600 H.O. E-TEC and 900 ACE – the Expedition LE provides the ideal combination of power, torque and efficiency to ensure your enjoyment, whether on the trail or at work.

2019 Ski-Doo Expedition Sport – New with the 900 ACE

Long known for offering the best value in the sport-utility segment, the 2019 ExpeditionSport model continues its momentum with its 600 ACE four-stroke engine and 550 Fan two-stroke engine, with easy-to-ride REV-X chassis and industry-leading suspensions.

New to the Expedition Sport is the upgraded Rotax 900 ACE four-stroke engine on the REV Gen4 platform. This nimble, lively snowmobile loved by so many off-trail riders takes its place in the utility segment to offer riders a new, dynamic engine and chassis combination.

The handling of the REV Gen4 platform and the 95 horsepower of the upgraded ACE engine (five more than the previous 900 ACE engine) make this a utility snowmobile that is unmatched in terms of dynamic handling, powerful engine performance and Rotax’s legendary reputation for durability and efficiency.

With an open cockpit that offers more freedom to the rider, Sport enthusiasts can choose their riding position to suit their style, whether it’s more aggressive on a solo ride, more relaxed and comfortable on a two-up ride, or a mix of both.

By combining this new engine/chassis package with industry-leading utility features such as a standard trailer hitch, plenty of cargo space and a comfort-oriented suspension, Ski-Doo is setting a new standard in the utility touring segment.
