The 2022 Yamaha RSVENTURE TF offers class-leading comfort features, including Yamaha’s exclusive power steering, YCCT electronic throttle control and extra-long articulated rear suspension. The result is an extremely versatile snowmobile that can work as well as play, making it the choice of many rental and touring operators.
FAITS SAILLANTS
- Our electronic throttle control system delivers superior performance, control and efficiency. It first senses acceleration and then electronically controls the throttle valves, resulting in predictable, smooth performance tuned specifically for the given snowmobile. The rider chooses from three system modes: S (sport) for high performance; T (touring) for smooth low- and mid-range response and improved fuel efficiency; and E (entry) for predictable acceleration, reduced top speed and optimized fuel efficiency.
- Yamaha was the first manufacturer to equip its snowmobiles with electric power steering. Its speed-sensing system provides maximum assistance at low speeds and almost no assistance at high speeds. In addition to the significant reduction in steering effort, the system mitigates the negative effects of feedback, helping to avoid unwanted steering effort due to feedback from the ground.
- The Tuner II ski, developed exclusively by Yamaha engineers, utilizes a dual keel that can be calibrated with various heddles and carbide bar lengths, depending on the snowmobiler’s preference. This ski significantly reduces wobble and steering effort while maintaining precise and predictable handling.
- The backrest is fully adjustable – simply release the lever to move it forward or backward depending on whether you’re riding solo or with a companion. The rear seat cushion can also be adjusted on the rotating plane to further enhance comfort, and even the height of the heated passenger grips can be adjusted.
- In the back, a large, oversized 26.5-liter trunk with a hard lid blends seamlessly into the snowmobile’s finish. A weatherproof seal keeps snow and moisture at bay.
PERFORMANCE
- The three-cylinder engine, designed as the ultimate powerhouse for trail riding, takes advantage of Yamaha’s advanced fuel injection system. This three-cylinder engine doses the fuel supply with surgical precision to deliver dazzling performance and drip-feed fuel. The wide, flattened power curve delivers instant thrust, no matter how fast the snowmobile is moving – thousands of satisfied owners will attest to this engine’s indestructible durability.
- Featuring both a master and a slave clutch, the YVXC system has fun delivering smooth pulley engagement, instant acceleration, quick downshifts and optimal operating temperatures that promote long belt life. The YVXC clutch system delivers smooth power as only Yamaha can, as well as all the lively feel of the responsive engine, without sacrificing any of the unmatched quality.
- Yamaha uses the Engine Brake Effect Reduction system to provide a freewheeling feel as the sled decelerates. In fact, this system allows a small volume of air to pass through the intake system as soon as the rider releases the throttle, thus greatly reducing the engine braking effect normally associated with four-stroke engines.
2022 Yamaha RSVENTURE TF – MANIABILITY
- High Pressure Gas (HPG) amortos built with a 40mm body are calibrated to deliver consistent performance and comfort, while resisting sagging. Plus, they are refurbishable, ensuring consistent performance season after season, provided proper maintenance is performed.
- Camso’s 151-inch RipSaw track with 1.25-inch lugs, considered the best high-performance track on the market, accelerates, brakes and waltzes like a virtuoso in a wide range of conditions.
- The advanced and highly precise front suspension design incorporates motion geometry, which is calibrated to eliminate unwanted lift from the inside edge of the ski while negotiating a turn. This system, consisting of two delta arms that are both precise and remarkably predictable, delivers confidence-inspiring performance in almost any terrain.
- High-quality, high-pressure gas-charged amortos are installed on the delta arms at the front and rear of the rear suspension – they’re engineered to provide unparalleled control and plush comfort, while being incredibly resistant to sagging. They’re refurbishable, which means your authorized Yamaha dealer can reload and modify them to keep them performing consistently, season after season.
2022 Yamaha RSVENTURE TF – COMFORT
- The coupled rear suspension, with two amortos, is specifically designed to provide all-day comfort. A unique articulated rail at the rear multiplies passenger comfort in inhospitable terrain, while facilitating reverse maneuvers in soft snow.
- Yamaha’s wide, flattened handlebars focus on comfort, control and natural ergonomics. The grips, with their curved “J” tips, add to the control options when cornering, and have heated elements along their entire length.
- Rain or shine, the easy-to-use electric starter activates instantly and hassle-free; the old-school launch cord is definitely gone! Snowmobilers will certainly appreciate the reverse gear, which is so practical, efficient and easy to activate. A horn always sounds as soon as the reverse gear is engaged.
- The high-intensity LED tail/brake light is lighter and brighter than a traditional incandescent bulb light, and it lasts considerably longer, too.
- In addition to the myriad of practical on-board features and built-in storage, the RSVenture TF comes with a factory-installed tow hitch on the back of the sled. It’s ready to haul your gear for the day or do some tricky work.
