2027 Ski-Doo Freeride: the Big Bump, Big Air sled for Deep Snow

2027 Ski-Doo Freeride

Some riders live for the big hits, the big air, and the wild lines through deep snow. They ride hard—not to break things, but because that’s how they chase the thrill. They’re not carving bowls; they’re launching off them. Every terrain feature becomes a challenge, a ramp, a bounce, a way to push the sport and themselves further. It’s creative, aggressive, and calculated. They know what they’re doing, and they do it with confidence.

That’s why Ski-Doo builds the Freeride. It’s the deep snow sled for riders who demand more—more strength, more capability, more freedom to ride their way. With the REV Gen5 platform, they get the agility and quick handling they need to move fast and stay in control. The Freeride adds features to take the hits, handle the pace, and thrive in the steep and deep. For those who ride with boldness and purpose, the Freeride is the perfect match.

For 2027 the Freeride levels up a notch and goes lighter yet to provide even more capability to these riders and adds a fun factor right out of the box. New this year is the 146 and 154-inch lengths will both be offered only in the super short tunnel and short radiator configuration with the tMotion L/O coil-over rear suspension tucked underneath it. Those changes plus new lighter forged aluminum a-arms with a 34-inch ski stance, Twin Link steering and Ultra-Compact seat shave weight and add agility to make every maneuver easier. The added fun factor will be the adjustable limiter strap with a mullet-like attitude of business when it’s short and party when it’s long!

Riders choosing the shortest track length and wanting a 3-inch lug height get the added benefit of a new, much lighter track that goes to a 3.5-inch pitch and loses 8 lbs. of rotating mass. This results in a new track length of 147-inches and even bigger smiles for those riders.

Freeride has always been an attention-grabbing sled, like the riders who pilot them. So, finishing it off is of course a bold new color offering – Ultraviolet II
